About this Dog
With a heavy heart, we introduce Raven, an 8-year-old bulldog mix whose world is about to change in the most confusing way. At 63 pounds, she’s spent nearly her entire life in the comfort of a loving home. She knew her routine, her people, her pack. But now, through no fault of her own, she finds herself searching for a new beginning in the late chapters of her life. Raven isn’t a high-energy pup anymore—those years are behind her. She’s gentle, calm, and prefers peace. She quietly coexisted with two dog siblings before they passed, and now prefers the company of low-energy dogs who respect her space. She’s been kind and patient around small children, though she tends to keep to herself. Her house manners are lovely—no accidents, no chaos—just a loyal dog who naps quietly while you're at work. She walks beautifully on a leash (even beside a stroller!) and has excellent recall on off-leash hikes. She’s sweet, obedient, and knows basic commands like sit, lay down, shake, and even beg. But don’t mistake her calm demeanor for indifference—Raven loves her people deeply. She may get a little too excited to see you after time apart, leaping up to give kisses in pure joy. Raven doesn’t need much—just a soft place to rest her head, someone to love, and a little understanding for her seasonal allergies. Her heart is broken, and soon she’ll be wondering where her family went. She deserves a second chance at love. If you can offer Raven a quiet, loving home where she can grow old with dignity and warmth, please reach out. She’s waiting for her next forever… and she’s hoping you’ll be it. Apply at https://www.pack9rescue.org/applications/ New Oxford PA 17350; LIC # 9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Adopt Raven and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Raven's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Raven's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Raven, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Raven's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Raven was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Raven’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Raven’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Raven’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
