Meet Dakota A Petite Husky Mix With a Big Heart Dakota is a gentle, one-year-old Husky mix with a soft spirit and a heart full of love. Surrendered to us recently, this black-and-white beauty is on the quieter side for her breed — calm, thoughtful, and oh-so-polite. Though a bit timid at first, Dakota quickly shows her true colors to those who give her a little time: she’s affectionate, patient, and incredibly sweet. She even gives hugs! And when it comes to cleanliness? Let’s just say her kennel is the tidiest we’ve ever seen — not a single mess in sight. Dakota is wonderful with children and seems to instinctively understand how to be gentle around them. She also waited respectfully for her food and water while we were cleaning — no barking, no fuss, just pure grace. Dakota received a full checkup at the vet & is healthy! She's even Lyme negative! She absolutely Loves car rides & travelling. We've also discovered she does not like kibble, not one bit! I tried covering it with gravy, she licked the gravy off & spit the kibble out. So, she's a soft food kind of gal! If you’re looking for a well-mannered, affectionate companion with a quiet charm and loving nature, Dakota just might be your perfect match. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dakota's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dakota was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dakota’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
