Meet Nixi (aka Richard Nixon or Richard) - Your New Best Friend with a Raspy Meow and a Loving Heart At 10 years young, Nixi is a handsome brown tabby with a gentle soul and a whole lot of love to give. Rescued from a local impound, Nixi hasn’t let his past slow him down—he’s eager to greet you, ask for attention, and share his sweet, raspy meow (which just adds to his charm). If you’re looking for a loyal companion and best buddy, Nixi is a great cat! He loves to follow you around, purr constantly and have lots of conversations. He really enjoys toys he can kick at with his back feet, and he absolutely loves treats like churu. To make him even more lovable, he has some extra toes on his front feet! He doesn't seem to mind other cats nearby, he has done great with my two kitties and in a really short time! Though slow introductions are best to make sure everyone gets off on the right paw. Looking for a calm, affectionate companion who’ll meet you at the door and steal your heart with a single hoarse meow? Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Nixi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nixi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nixi’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nixi’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
