Ten-year-old Bella and nine-year-old Maverick were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some of them were strays that were never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Bella & Maverick‘s owner passed away suddenly and a family member surrendered them both to the shelter, knowing that they were at the top of the list to be euthanized. Bella is housebroken, good with children, some other dogs, and cats. She knows commands, and is leash-trained. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list. Each has now received full veterinary care and is preparing for a fresh start in PA. Despite their past, these dogs are full of hope and heart. Could this survivor be your new best friend? Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bella (in foster)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bella (in foster) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bella (in foster)’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
