About this Dog
KETTY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Ketty Best Guess for Breed: Lab and poodle mix Best Guess for Age: 8 weeks as of 7/7/25 (DOB 5/19) SEX: Female Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!): 6 lbs 3 oz as of 7/8/25 Gets Along With: Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training. Currently Living at: DC Area foster! Special Adoption Considerations: Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy. This Cutie is Looking For: Yes, you're probably staring at the pictures and thinking "this puppy is a lab and poodle mix?" YES! We have Mama Lucy and she is definitely a doodle. Most of her nine babies (Knox, Kenobi, Kisses, Karoli, Ketty, Klint, Komet, Keeper, Kido) didn't get the curly gene - which means less coat maintenance for their lucky adopters! This pup is super cute and wants lots of play time and snuggles and more play time. And soon - to explore the neighborhood, local parks, the world! Making new pup pals along the way is a definite want! Going to puppy school to learn how to be the bestest pup is high on that wish list too! But you know what's right at the top? Always knowing where home is, who her humans are. Being safe and loved always. In exchange, he promises loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Does she get to grow up with you? What My Foster Says About Me: The K pups are ISO of loving families. They have different personalities but share a deep desire to be picked up and cuddled. They are joyful and always ready for a new toy or place to explore. They are learning how to chase balls and steal them from their foster family’s pup. They are curious about other dogs and want to make friends with the big husky and the small bichon in their foster home. Ketty likes to run around the yard as fast as possible and then fling herself at the nearest human for cuddles. Her brave nature doesn’t always match her size, though--she is likely to bounce down stairs which are far too steep for her. That doesn't deter her though - she heads right off to her next adventure Puppy Vetting Requirements: Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog. Due to this puppy’s young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered. As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than November 19, 2025. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A non-refundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be spayed/neutered at one of our low cost partner vets. Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog! TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. Adopt Ketty and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ketty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Ketty's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Ketty, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ketty's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ketty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ketty’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Ketty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ketty’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
