She’s eager to connect deeply with her people and happily follows your lead, always wanting to please. Though still young, she could use a quick refresher on the puppy basics - but with her smarts and enthusiasm, she’ll catch on fast! She looooves to play, especially fetch, and is fantastic with other dogs, making her a great candidate for a multi-dog home. If you’re looking for a soft, sweet soul to complete your family, Mazapan is your girl! -3 year old white and black Siberian Husky -46 pound spayed female -may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before she can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 6/18/25 as a stray -beautiful cloud of whipped cream, with the faintest sprinkle of black frosting her face and back -gregarious, sweet, and loving - a gentle personality with a sunny warmth that brings joy to the soul! -wants desperately to connect deeply with her people, and is eager to please and follow your lead -given her young age, could benefit from a quick refresher on puppy basics -looooves to play, especially fetch! -great with other dogs, so could be a wonderful sister to any pups you may already have ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, MAZAPAN's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MAZAPAN was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MAZAPAN’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MAZAPAN’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
