Found as a stray and overwhelmed with fear, Duchess was shut down and uncertain in the shelter—but thanks to her rescuers, she’s beginning to feel safe for the first time in her life. Duchess is a soft, sensitive soul who’s still learning to trust. She may pancake to the floor or freeze when unsure, but she welcomes gentle affection and is showing slow, steady progress with the help of her rescuers. She’s not yet confident sometimes needs a little help with new things, even going outside and through doorways, but once outside, she’s calm and observant. The wonderful news? Duchess does great with other dogs and would truly thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help her continue building trust and courage. Adopt Duchess and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Duchess's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Duchess was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Duchess’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
