Get ready for a heartwarming ray of sunshine in your life- Meet Summer! A charming, affectionate boy approx. 5 yrs old and bursting full of love and personality. Visitors to your home? Summer will welcome them at the door and lead them on a tour of the house! He’s friendly and social– he loves people and wants to be wherever you are. This sweet boy is a silly, playful spirit- he goes wild for a laser pointer, furry mice toys, or perhaps an interesting household item may mean playtime! He’ll entertain you (and himself!) each and every day. Wherever you are, he will follow. He loves hanging out, next to you on the sofa, lounging on a cat tree, or anywhere with a view of the great outdoors. He loves to get pets and purrs easily. He just has so much love to give. And he’s vocal about it, too!! He’ll happily “talk” to you with sweet, expressive meows! Homeowner is elderly and increasingly a fall risk with sweet Summer’s tendency to follow like a shadow. Originally taken in as a stray, he’s been exclusively indoors for 3 years, with his other cat roommates that he gets along well with. This energetic boy would thrive in an indoor home with plenty of space and access to a view of the outside. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Summer's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Summer was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Summer’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
