About this Dog
Meet Barbie and her brother Ken! They are an adorable loving 7 year old pair that were originally rescued off the streets of Thailand. They were born on the street, and had fended for themselves since birth, watching many of their friends and siblings die along the side of the road. They were the very lucky ones. They were rescued by volunteers we work with there and flown here to Los Angeles to search for a new future and a life they once only dreamed possible. That was 6 and a half years ago. Their family is now giving them up. They state that they watch their grandkids and Ken is fearful of toddlers. So both Ken and Barbie have once again found themselves abandoned and in search of their forever family. It breaks our hearts that they were just babies when rescued and promised a forever home and now they have to start over again. They have been together their entire lives so we would really like to see them stay together at this point. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BARBIE AND KEN's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BARBIE AND KEN was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BARBIE AND KEN’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BARBIE AND KEN’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
