RANDI NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Randi and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (07/27) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Silver Spring, MD (12020 Cherry Hill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904)! Name: Randi Best Guess for Breed: Retriever mix, some lab in there Best Guess for Age: 6 months as of July 2025 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 28 lbs as of 7/2/25; he is still growing! Gets Along With: Other dogs!We haven't seen him with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! He has lived with a child in foster care. Currently Living at: DC area foster home. Randi is Looking For: His forever home! This sweetie is at the tail end of puppyhood and ready to see the world! He's eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is Randy the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: Randi is doing great! He takes several walks a day—some long, some quick loops—and he’s excellent on a leash. He’s playful with other dogs and loves meeting pets on walks. Randi is affectionate, social, and eager to please—he settled in quickly, and his good-natured personality makes him a joy to have around. At home, Randi is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. He’s full of puppy energy but tires out with walks and games of fetch (he’s already learning to drop the ball for another throw!). He loves his toys—especially balls—and has shown no destructive habits. He sleeps through the night in his crate. No accidents yet! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Randi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Randi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Randi’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
