Percy and Oppy's Personalities Percy, Oppy and Curie (posted separately) are friendly, energetic kittens. Named after the Mars rovers Perseverance, Opportunity and Curiosity, these explorers thoroughly investigate every corner and crevice in a room. They love to run around and chase each other and spend a lot of time in constant motion! When they aren't playing, they are sweet and loving. And, adore being picked up and petted. PERCY (black, male) loves to play with toys, especially balls. He is playful with his foster family and the quickest to purr. OPPY (grey with white patch on chest, male) enjoys climbing and leaping, and also finding small spaces to curl up inside of. Or on top of - like their foster parents' laps. What Type of Home They Need These boys will settle right in to just about any home that gives them plenty of love and interaction. Because they are playfully rambunctious, they will do best in a home with couple or a family with older kids. They need room to explore, romp around and develop their personalities. We have not seen them interact with other cats or dogs but would likely adapt to either. Where They Came From These boys came from someone's home who allowed their cat to have kittens then decided they couldn't care for them. Now in our care, all are getting proper vetting.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Percy and Oppy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Percy and Oppy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Percy and Oppy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Percy and Oppy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund.
