Gemma needs a new living situation. She is a 16 month old Husky mix. She will do best with an active family! She gets along with most dogs and cats don't seem to bother her. Gemma was born January of 2024. She has a joyful personality and is always smiling looking to please. She loves squeaky balls, playing fetch, long walks but knows how to relax at the end of the day. Gemma is potty and crate trained and listens well. She is still young and needs a little more training, especially around other dogs but has all the potential to be your next 4 leg best friend that is always up for a walk or hike. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, GEMMA's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and GEMMA was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, GEMMA’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the GEMMA’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, GEMMA’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
