We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Special Adoption Considerations: Because Dock is Shy, he needs to go to a home with a welcome resident dog to help show him the ropes. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Dock is Looking For: A place to call home! Dock is dreaming of long walks in the park, romps with doggie friends, and cozy nights on the couch. At 2 years old, Dock is making his way out of the puppy stage but still has energy to go on adventures with you. He would love to learn new skills with you at obedience classes too! More than anything, Dock wants to feel safe and loved for all his days. In exchange, he promises to stay by your side, whether you are sittin' on a dock at sunset or taking a nap at home! He is also great walking on leash - not too much pulling! He improves each day, building confidence and establishing a routine. He will make his forever family very happy. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dock's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dock was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dock’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
