Hatch Dates: 2018 & 2019 Sonny and Cher are a gorgeous bonded pair of cockatiels, 7 and 6 years old, respectively. Sonny is presumed male, but is pure white, so this is a guess based on the fact that he does love to sing much more than Cher. Cher has a stunning pattern of grey and white feathers, and seems to be the defender of Sonny against strangers. They step up to come out of their cage, and like to hang out on top of it, or on the pictures in their room. They eat a primarily a seed diet, but enjoy an occasional snack of salt-free crackers or animal crackers. They love to have a spray-bottle bath given by their mom, and she does this nearly daily. Their mom has found eggs in the cage, but none ever hatched, and once she removed the nest box from the cage, this became more rare. These two are happy in their own world, but with very little work, they would likely become very friendly and enjoy handling. Sonny and Cher are living in their owners home in Maple Shade, New Jersey They are working through our help with rehoming program They will be adopted out together, and only be adopted into a forever home within driving distance. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sonny and Cher's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sonny and Cher was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sonny and Cher’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
