Bongo has been part of our HSMO family since he was just a little puppy, and we've watched him grow into such a special dog! Like many smart pups, he went through that challenging mouthy phase where he was still learning how to regulate himself, but now he's coming out of his teenage years and really showing his true, wonderful personality. This intelligent boy has made incredible progress and is ready for the next chapter of his life. Once Bongo feels comfortable and relaxed, he transforms into the most affectionate companion who will happily cuddle right next to you. His smart, active nature means he needs a family who can keep up with his energy and continue helping him learn and grow. What Bongo needs most is a loving family home where he can finally learn what it means to be a true family dog. He's spent his formative months in shelter life, and while we've loved caring for him, he's ready to experience the consistency, routine, and unconditional love that only a forever home can provide. With the right active family to guide him, Bongo will blossom into the loyal, cuddly companion he's meant to be. We are recommending a home with older children and no small cats or dogs for this pup.Bongo is also available to be fostered through our Home Enrichment Foster program. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BONGO's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BONGO was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BONGO’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BONGO’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
