Deer - Male DOB 6/5/2023 Domestic Short Hair - Gray Deer is a mellow, sweet-natured kitty who’s still figuring things out at his own pace. He can be a little shy at first, but with a bit of patience (and maybe a few treats), he starts to come out of his shell. He’s made a great friend here at the rescue in Luke, and the two of them love to wrestle, play, and hang out together. They would love to be adopted together, and make a great duo if you're looking to add two playful cats to your home. He’s big on bird-watching and would be thrilled to have a sunny window and a comfy perch where he can relax and enjoy the view. A quieter home without dogs or young kids would suit his gentle personality best. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Deer AND Luke's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Deer AND Luke was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Deer AND Luke’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
