About this Dog
Luna! She's human/cat/dog friendly! (Takes longer to warm up to men) Luna showed signs of allergies to dry kibble containing chicken. She does not need a special type, just might be a dog that needs a salmon or lamb kibble instead. Luna is house trained and fantastic on a leash! She's not destructive, she doesn't jump on people, she minds very well to commands. She's very smart!!! She's not what we would consider a "flight risk" as she's not shown to be a big fan of escaping then bolting. She more enjoys unlocking gates to walk right outside of the gate and sit. Could it just be a game? She may need some solid fence gates in her future but again, she may just want to sit on the outside of the fence if she has one every now and then. With all of these amazing things, Luna is not perfect. She's been shuffled from shelter to a foster home, she's confused and suffering from anxiety. This is completely 100% separation anxiety. She will drool a lot as her anxiety grows as well. Her one downfall can be changed with a stable home. CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and an additional $150 spay/ neuter deposit where applicable. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped. All payments are by credit card. Adopters schedule their own surgeries directly with any vet of their choosing with a surgery cost reimbursement of up to $75 (plus refund of the $150 deposit) when proof of surgery is received by CARE. Surgery is required to be done within 6 months of adoption (unless they have a vet recommending otherwise).

Adopt Luna and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Luna's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Luna's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Luna, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Luna's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Luna was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Luna’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Luna’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Luna’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
