Other: Neutered Male, Vaccinations current, Microchip Scotcheroo is ready to jump into your life ! Foster Home Feedback 6/19/25 Foster Feedback: Scotcheroo is a striking pup with two different colored eyes — a fun and unique feature that makes him stand out! His vet gave him a clean bill of health, so while his eyes may look a little different, they're perfectly healthy and only add to his charm. He's making steady progress with crate training. While he doesn't go in willingly just yet, he settles in well at night and is learning more each day. He’s also doing great with house training — there have been no accidents at all! Scotcheroo is improving on leash walks and is learning that not every person or pup needs to be barked at. His “leave it” skills and general manners are coming along, too. Like many young dogs, he’s still working through some puppy habits like finger nibbling and hovering around people during meals. He may bark a bit when left in his crate while you're away, but with time and consistency, he’s likely to grow more confident. All in all, Scotcheroo is a bright, loving pup who's eager to learn and be someone's loyal companion. 6/12/25 Foster Feedback: Scotcheroo is a playful, energetic pup who absolutely LOVES to have fun! He got along great with a big dog we had visiting and is generally a happy, social guy. Scotcheroo does pretty well on a leash—though he sometimes gets excited and dashes toward passing cars or people. House training? No accidents so far! He’s not kennel trained yet, but when we put him in at night, he only whines briefly before settling down and staying quiet until morning. Like any puppy, Scotcheroo has a few mischievous habits—playfully biting fingers, grabbing socks or blankets off the floor, and running off with them. Thankfully, he usually responds well to "leave it" and some redirection. We’re working on it! Scotcheroo loves toys and chews and will entertain himself a little, but what he really wants is to play with people or other dogs. He’s not shy about invading your personal space to make sure you join in! One thing to watch out for—he’s a sneaky food thief. If there’s anything within reach, he’ll go for it. And if you’re eating on the couch? He might just launch himself at your plate! We’re working on that too. Overall, Scotcheroo is a fun-loving, affectionate pup who just wants to play and be part of the action!

Adopt Scotcheroo and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Scotcheroo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Scotcheroo's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Scotcheroo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Scotcheroo's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Scotcheroo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Scotcheroo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Scotcheroo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Scotcheroo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
