Hi everyone! My name is George Jones and while I can't sing like my famous namesake, I am just as handsome! You may remember that I was found running the streets with a stick stuck in the back of my throat and a body full of fleas. Luckily the nice Nacogdoches Animal Shelter picked me up and got me to safety and the great vets at North Street got that stick out of my throat! Thank goodness! I have been hanging out in my foster home for a while and am up to date on shots and I have been neutered. I am heartworm positive, but on treatment and getting rid of those yucky worms! Don't let that scare you off! I am kicking their butts! I am a middle aged guy at 7 years old but I LOVE running in the backyard and playing with my doggie friends. I absolutely must have a fenced in yard! I would love a home with another dog to play with or children to give me scratchies!
