Rooster is a 1-year-old Golden Retriever with a gentle soul who just needs a little patience and a lot of love to help her shine. While she's a bit nervous about the outside world and some of life's challenges (like car rides and vet visits), she has so much love to give once she feels safe and secure. Rooster is currently on anti-anxiety medication, which helps her manage her fears, but she's looking for a home that can continue working with her and her sensitive nature. Rooster would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly dog companion who can show her the ropes and help her feel more comfortable in the world. She is ok with cats. A fenced yard is a must—she loves to run and play once she feels at ease, and trust us, she’s a playful puppy at heart! She does not yet feel comfotable on a leash. While she may start off a little cautious, once she bonds with her people, she’ll want nothing more than to curl up on the couch with you for a snuggle. Rooster is a pro at finding the comfiest spot to sleep—whether that’s next to you or on the furniture (which she absolutely loves!). Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rooster 1389's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rooster 1389 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rooster 1389’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
