Date into Rescue: 06/04/2025 Reason for being in rescue: Raleigh Puppy Mill bust Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Peach is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 06/30/25 she had a dental polishing. Peach arrived in rescue from poor conditions. She and all the dogs in the home have been proactively treated for mange. Our best guess is that Peach is a poodle mix, but she came from a puppy mill where there were also chihuahuas and pomeranians. We cannot guarantee that she is hypoallergenic or that she won't shed. Weight: 10 lbs Height: 12 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $399 Fence needed? No What kind of home would be best for me? Peach is very playful, very sweet, and very into making friends—especially the four-legged kind. While a dog buddy isn't required, we highly recommend one because Peach has a bestie at the rescue, and she thrives when she has a buddy to romp, chase, and plot yard zoomies with. If you already have a playful dog at home, congrats—you just became Peach’s favorite human. If not, don’t worry—you’ll just have to sign up as her designated playmate. Hope you’re good at fetch. And tag. And chase. And mid-day snack breaks followed by more chase. If you’re looking for a best friend who’s one belly rub away from being your shadow and one snack away from trusting you forever—Peach is ready. Just don’t tell her she needs “training”—she prefers the term sparkle enhancement. What is my personality like? Meet Peach – A Diamond in the Ruff with a Nose for Fun. Let us introduce you to Peach—our bouncy, sweet, slightly unpolished little treasure who’s just one good polishing away from full-on adventure dog status. She’s got the heart, she’s got the zoomies, and she definitely knows how to strike a pose. (Seriously—she knows she’s pretty. You’ll see it in every head tilt and “get my good side” moment.) Peach is the kind of pup who’s this close to becoming your favorite hiking buddy, road trip pal, or backyard squirrel chaser. She just needs a little patience and a lot of adventure—and maybe someone willing to gently explain why the leash is not, in fact, her enemy. (Work in progress, okay - She's trying.) Peach is still learning the ropes of being a pet, but her spirit is fearless, and her tail is constantly wagging. She’s got a sparkle in her eye, legs made for running, and a heart ready to love hard and play harder. In summary: Leash - Not her fav (yet). Photos - Absolutely. She looks like she was born for Instagram. Vibes - Pure sunshine with a dash of chaos. Needs - Patience, playtime, snacks, and probably another dog to keep her in check. How do I act when I first meet new people? Peach likes to charm you with her good looks and adorable personality and make you work for that proverbial first date. Don't worry - she's worth it! Other tips and tidbits: Peach is estimated at just over a year old. We celebrate her birthday 03/05/2024. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
