After coming from the shelter where she was shut down from fear, Lyric is now in a loving foster home with a young male German Shepherd, a playful female Aussie, a senior Jack Russell, and small children - and she's learning every day that the world can be kind. This young female German Shepherd is the kind of dog who makes you believe in second chances. She follows the lead of the pack, loves to splash in her dog pool at night, and has started wagging her tail when she sees her favorite people. She's curious, affectionate, and playful once she feels safe. Lyric is crate-trained, housebroken, and quiet inside - a true companion in the making. What makes Lyric special: Dog-friendly! Kid-friendly! Crate-trained and house-trained Quiet and low-energy in the home, but loves short bursts of backyard play Learning to trust men! She now approaches her foster dad and will sit next to him on the couch. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, LYRIC's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and LYRIC was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, LYRIC’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, LYRIC’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
