Hi, my name is Athena and I'm about 17 weeks old. Me, my mom and litter mate were strays that were rescued by Bond County Humane Society. We that were brought to BCHS when I was about 6 weeks old. I am outgoing, playful and affectionate. My affection is given on my terms when I'm ready. I get along with an older cat in my community room. We have an understanding. I ignore her and she ignores me. My favorite thing to do was play with my littermate, Zeus, but he has been adopted so now I'm a little lonely. I am hoping to have a family of my own very soon. I am available for immediate adoption. I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $140. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Athena's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Athena was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Athena’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
