This is Ashes—our quietly elegant 4-year-old beauty with a coat so soft and velvety, you’d swear she was woven from storm clouds and moonlight. Just look at her! That steely gray fur, those bright golden eyes—Ashes is the picture of feline grace, with a heart that just needs a little time (and a lot of kindness) to fully shine.Ashes was surrendered for the same reason as her best friend Figgy—her previous cat housemate just couldn’t make peace, and Ashes, ever the gentle soul, was caught in the middle. She came to us shy and unsure, but with patience and love, she’s begun to let her real personality bloom. And let us tell you, once you're in her inner circle, she’s got plenty to say. Ashes is surprisingly talkative when she’s comfortable, chirping and meowing in that soft, sweet voice like you’re her favorite person on Earth (you probably are).She may never be a lap cat, but she will absolutely be your shadow—rubbing against your legs, curling up beside you, and melting under the touch of a gentle brush. She’s the kind of cat who shows her love quietly but deeply, and once you earn it, it’s all yours.Ashes is currently housed in one of our free-roam rooms with her best pal Figgy, and the two of them have formed an adorable, heartwarming friendship. Adopt Ashes and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ashes's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ashes was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ashes’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
