After her spay she was set to be released but she was deemed quiet, scared but not "overly" feral. The area where she was trapped has not be a safe place - coyotes stop by almost nightly and recently a cat in that area was picked up and dropped by a bird of prey - large gashes all around his neck. In addition, an archery range was built right by the feeding area, and they are NOT cat friendly. We decided to not let her go and an AMAZING couple experienced in socializing cats has been working with her. She may not ever be a lap cat and may just be a cat you can admire from afar. And she is a stunner! The pics do not do her justice. Beautiful long coated calico/tortie. Her foster Moms say she would be a great cat to adopt for your friendly cat :0) If you are looking for a submissive sweet cat to keep your cat company, she might just be the one. She needs an experienced cat owner that knows what to expect from a gal who is still learning to live on the "inside". She is guesstimated to be 1-3 years old. Fully vetted - tested (negative), spayed, vaccinated and will be microchipped. This is what her foster Moms say about her…. Miss Girl is a tenderhearted kitty with a deep love for her fellow felines. She thrives in the company of other cats and will softly cry when they’re out of sight, showing just how much, she values their presence. A true “cat’s cat,” Miss Girl would be the perfect companion for a resident kitty who could use a gentle, quiet friend. She’s never hissed or growled at another cat and has a peaceful, respectful demeanor. While she’s still learning to trust humans and may tremble or hiss if approached too quickly, her heart is full of potential; she just needs someone who understands that not every cat is a lap cat, and that’s okay. Miss Girl spends her days watching birds from her favorite perch behind the curtain, lovingly dubbed her emotional support curtain. She’s impeccably tidy, keeps her fur fluffy and clean, and has a flawless litter box record. She never scratches furniture or causes trouble; she simply wants a peaceful home with kind kitty companionship and the space to blossom at her own pace. After verifying the adoption, MISS GIRL's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MISS GIRL was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MISS GIRL’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
