About this Dog
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails) . Eclipse | 1-Year-Old Lab Mix | Zoomies, Snuggles & Star Power Say hello to Eclipse, a 36-pound Lab mix with a sleek black coat, bright white accents, and a whole lot of sparkle. Equal parts cuddlebug and outdoor explorer, this girl is ready to be the sunshine and the moon in your life. Eclipse is the definition of affectionate—she loves to curl up beside you, rest her head in your lap, and will gently offer her paw when she wants more pets (which is often). She’s sweet, friendly, and still learning a few boundaries—like not turning herself into a 36-pound lap dog! With a very high energy level, Eclipse is happiest when she’s on the move. Long walks? Yes. Backyard zoomies? Absolutely. Weekend hikes, brewery patios, or dog sports? Bring it on. She does great on leash, but watch out for squirrels and bunnies—her prey drive is strong, and she’s not shy about trying to chase! Eclipse gets along well with other dogs and is playful with cats (though they may not always appreciate her enthusiasm). She hasn’t met kids yet, but she’s shown herself to be submissive and friendly with adults. She knows basic cues like “sit,” “come,” “off,” and “leave it,” though she’s still working on keeping her focus when she’s excited. (Think: enthusiastic wiggle worm.) At night, Eclipse prefers to sleep in bed with her person, and during the day she’s okay being crated—especially if she has a dog buddy around. When left uncrated and alone, though, she’s been known to channel her inner redecorator. Separation anxiety is real for her, and she’ll need a family that can provide structure, patience, and plenty of love as she continues to gain confidence. Her ideal home? One with a fenced yard, a playful pup sibling, and active humans who understand her energy and her need for guidance. With the right match, Eclipse is going to shine—bright, bold, and full of love. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email [email protected] for more information, as we can't accept calls.

Adopt Eclipse #1 and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Eclipse #1's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Eclipse #1's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Eclipse #1, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Eclipse #1's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Eclipse #1 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Eclipse #1’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Eclipse #1’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Eclipse #1’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
