PEARL'S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN WAIVEDEXPERIENCED, SPICY/SASSY CAT-SAVVY, ADULT ONLY, INSIDE ONLY HOME WITH NO OTHER PETS.PEARL IS DEAF and is a socialization work-in-progress. She's a loud talker that requires careful handling. She is quick to hiss and swat at hands with her claws. Pearl needs LOTS of playtime to help burn off her inner `house tiger` energy. She doesn't like to be held and only allows limited petting with a back scratcher at this time. Since moved to her private kitty room, her spicy behavior is improving! Pearl loves playing with balls, toy mice, and especially wand toys which provide a safe distance from hands. She uses her litterbox, cardboard scratcher and enjoys bird watching on the tall cat tower. Pearl is a very active, playful and curious adolescent kitty but can quickly switch to hissy and swatty when not handled carefully. She is precious in her own special way! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, *PEARL's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *PEARL was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *PEARL’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *PEARL’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
