DOB: 7/3/2022 Introducing our darling Cass—named after the legendary singer Cass Elliot (if you know, you know). She is such a sweet girl, and we're hoping to find her the absolute best home. Cass was taken in by someone who truly cared for her, but due to their age, could no longer continue providing the care she needed. They tried their best—they put out food (probably a little too much food), and when she arrived at the shelter, she weighed over 19 pounds. In the end, her human made the loving and difficult decision to let her go, realizing they couldn’t care for themselves—let alone Cass, too. Since arriving at the shelter, Cass has been seeking her new person. She’s incredibly sweet with everyone she meets. You can find her tucked into a cabinet in the adoption center, and if you open the door and give her some gentle pets, she immediately flops over and nuzzles you. Cass was given up by someone who loved her deeply so she could have a better life—and maybe lose a little weight along the way. Could you be that better life? Come meet me at the Kitty Bubble Cafe! A minimum visit of 30 minutes must be purchased in order to meet me in the Cat Lounge. 1 hour visits are $15.00 and 30 minute visits are $10.00. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cass - KBC's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cass - KBC was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cass - KBC’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
