About this Cat
Squeak is a vivacious calico who gives an endearing “squeak” meow when she sees you. Although she is very much about playing with the wand toy (and food), she also loves to come up for pets, snuggle against your legs, and sleep up against you at night, sometimes curled around your head. Though she is not (yet) a lap cat, she shows her affection by gently grooming your hand as you pet her and she can’t stand for Blaze to be enjoying pets without her. She is a most excellent huntress of toys and loves to “trophy walk” with them after she catches them. She and her brother, Blaze, are quite fond of each other – sleeping together, grooming each other, and, of course, wrestling! She would do best in a home with her brother or another young, energetic, and playful cat.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, squeak's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and squeak was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, squeak’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the squeak’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, squeak’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
