Hi, I'm FurFur, a lovely little lady with striking short black and white fur. I was born approximately 8/30/2017 and I have a big personality and a heart that's slowly opening back up to love. I was originally adopted from HSPPR, but due to a tough turn of events, my person lost their housing and couldn't keep me. That's how I ended up at Wild Blue, where I'm now looking for a second chance at a forever home. When I arrived, I had some wounds on my face and back legs, and the vet thinks I may have a food allergy that's been bothering my skin. Right now, I'm on a special diet, hydrolyzed protein or rabbit-based food, and it's already helping me feel better. I love people, but I do need a bit of time to build trust. The good news? I'm getting sweeter and more relaxed every day. Once we're friends, I'll gladly soak up pets, especially on my head, cheeks, neck, and back. I'll even play with you! I enjoy chasing the laser and wand toys, and treats are the fastest way to my heart. Sometimes I get overstimulated, and I'll give a little growl to let you know I need a break. I appreciate it when people listen to my signals. I've been through a lot, but I still have so much love to give, and I'm ready for a home where I can feel safe, understood, and adored. I'm not a fan of other cats, so I'd be happiest as your one and only feline where I don't have to compete for attention or territory. I think I'd do well in a home without kids, or older teenagers. Maybe a doggie buddy would be ok, as long as you follow Wild Blue's introduction procedures. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, FurFur's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and FurFur was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, FurFur’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the FurFur’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, FurFur’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund.
