About this Cat
Hi there, I'm Lanai! I'm a sassy little lady with a big personality and an even bigger heart (once you earn it). I was born approximately 5/20/2016 and I've got the classic brown tabby coat with white markings and short silky fur. I was adopted from Wild Blue back in the day, but recently I found myself back here after having some stress issues with inappropriate urination. I know that's not ideal, but with the right understanding and environment, I believe I can thrive again without having those issues. Let's get one thing straight: I know what I like, and I'm not shy about telling you. I'm very vocal and expressive. I'll meow when I'm happy, purr when I'm really into those chin and head pets, and I'll let you know (with a growl or even a swat) when I need a little space. If you're good at reading feline body language, we'll get along just fine. I absolutely love chin rubs and brushing time, those are the keys to my heart. When I'm in an extra good mood, I might surprise you by climbing onto your shoulder or even giving you sweet little kisses. But affection has to be on my terms. I'm not big on being pet all over, and I'll need a home that respects my boundaries and can give me space when I ask for it. Other cats? Not really my thing. I prefer to be the queen of my domain and will growl to let others know to keep their distance. I'd be happiest as your one and only pet, where I don't have to compete for attention or territory. I think I'd do well in a home with no kids or visiting children. If you're looking for a strong, independent lady who still has her cuddly moments, I might just be your match. I may be a bit moody sometimes, but I promise, there's a loyal, loving side to me waiting for the right person to bring it out. Could that person be you? If so, please fill out an adoption application at www.wbcats.org/adopt.

Adopt Lanai and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lanai's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Lanai's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Lanai, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lanai's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lanai was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lanai’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Lanai’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lanai’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
