About this Dog
RIVIAN hails from Constance Lake and headed south to find her forever family. She’s spayed, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. She was found all alone with no other family around so the breeds we have her listed as and the weight she’ll grow to be is just an educated guess. This super sweet young lady enjoys being around people as well as other dogs. She knows all the basic commands and sits nicely for her meals plus will take treats “gentle.” RIVIAN is house trained and she knows she’s to take her bathroom breaks outside and when she’s on her walks. She’s crate trained and the odd time will complain when she goes in but she does settle down quickly and then will sleep quietly in it all night. She’ll also take her naps in it during the day. She loves to go on walks and does go on several during the day. She has lots of toys she plays with and is quite happy when she has a bone to chew on. She’s very social and has a few dogs in her foster home and she really enjoys chasing them and playing in the yard. It should be noted that she was recently adopted but then returned to the rescue due to an interaction with a cat in the home even though she was fostered with a cat with no problems at all. The adopters weren’t there for the initial interaction so they’re not sure what triggered the two to basically have a fight. The cat is doing okay but it could’ve been much worse so we’re saying no to cats in the home as a safeguard. Once she was returned to rescue our wonderful puppy trainer said she would take her to foster. She’s doing great with her and is becoming used to a structured routine. The trainer has noticed that she can be bossy so a dog savvy adopter for her would be ideal. She also has some tendencies to resource guard but nothing crazy that she can’t be trained out of. She also mentioned she has a lack of impulse control and that’s being worked on with the trainer. She has been around children and they all love her but if there’s any in the home we are saying they should be aged 10 and up due to her getting so excited that she could possibly knock them over. RIVIAN’s ideal family (besides being very dog savvy) would also be a very active outdoorsy type who’ll take her on lots of walks and hikes in the woods. She travels well in a car so she’d love to go where you go and that includes adventures, camping and trips to the lake as she loves to go swimming. She will need a family that’s committed to continue her puppy/obedience training. This of course can be continued with our trainer but you can take her to your own trainer to continue her training if preferred. This is required to make sure she’s the best girl possible and the adopter will learn how to be the best parent possible to her and meet all her needs. A fully fenced-in yard is required for her so she can run around and play to burn off some of that “Rivian” energy. If RIVIAN sounds like the perfect girl for your active home then please submit an adoption application to meet her.

Adopt RIVIAN and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, RIVIAN's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is RIVIAN's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the RIVIAN, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming RIVIAN's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and RIVIAN was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, RIVIAN’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the RIVIAN’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, RIVIAN’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
