!!URGENT- DEADLINE FOR ADOPTION OR RESCUE: WEDNESDAY 7/23/25 @ 5:00 PM!!Meet Rockstone – A Gentle Soul with a Playful HeartWith his long legs and puppy-like enthusiasm, Rockstone is a lanky sweetheart. He absolutely loves going on walks—his tail wags, his eyes light up, and he’s ready to explore the world by your side. He can be a strong puller at times, but he does wonderfully with an EZ walk harness and is learning his manners - he even sits politely before going out the door.Rockstone is also kind. He melts for head pets, loves a good treat, and truly comes alive during playtime. On the 4th of July, he charmed a whole group of visitors during a comfort session, happily joining in a game of tug and soaking up the attention. Don't judge him by how he acts in his kennel! He's is much different outside his kennel. Some of our most social dogs are the most miserable in their kennel because the isolation of shelter life is hardest on them. He’s currently sharing a kennel with another dog and seems to enjoy the company. Rockstone would thrive in a home where he can stretch those long legs on regular walks, play to his heart’s content, and most of all—feel safe, loved, and part of a family.Rockstone regularly participates in our shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible dog friend in his new home. He can be anxious in our larger rambunctious groups but does well in a smaller calmer group and usually finds one buddy to play with, or he just follows the people. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Adopt ROCKSTONE and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, ROCKSTONE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the ROCKSTONE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ROCKSTONE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ROCKSTONE’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the ROCKSTONE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ROCKSTONE’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
