About this Cat
Meet Robert Frost – the boldest little cuddlebug with a poetic soul! With his charming tabby stripes, snowy white face, belly, and paws, Robert Frost is as handsome as he is lovable. This little guy may have just learned to walk, but he skipped straight to running and climbing—and hasn’t looked back! He’s bursting with curiosity, full of playful energy, and always ready to explore every corner of his world. Frost is a total people-kitten. The moment he spots a human, he makes a beeline right for them—often climbing up your leg if you’re too slow to scoop him into your arms! He loves lap time, snuggles, and being carried around like the royalty he knows he is. If he’s not getting the affection he wants, you’ll hear about it—his tiny voice has big opinions! Though he’s still mostly nursing, Frost is starting to nibble on soft food and learning the ropes of litter box training from his mama. He adores other cats, dogs, kids—really, anyone who’s willing to love him back. Robert Frost is playful, affectionate, and delightfully bold. If you’re looking for a kitten with endless charm, cuddles, and confidence, he’s your guy! Robert Frost is from a local reservation. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
