Mama Angelou is a devoted and gentle mama currently raising seven adorable kittens, and while they keep her busy, she still makes time for her humans! The moment you walk into the room, she hops up and hurries over, ready for affection. Her favorite thing? Pressing her forehead to yours and holding your hand (or paw!) while she nurses her babies—pure love in cat form. This sleek, long, and lean beauty is calm, affectionate, and easygoing. She gets along well with other cats, dogs, kids, and adults alike, making her a wonderful fit for just about any home. When she needs a break from mom duties, she’ll quietly slip away to explore the house or enjoy a peaceful moment to herself. Though she hasn’t had much time to play while caring for her kittens, Mama Angelou is still young, and we know her playful side will soon shine through. She adores pets, scratches, kisses, and quiet snuggles—especially those sweet forehead-to-forehead moments. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mama Angelou's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mama Angelou was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mama Angelou’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
