Momma Lollipop did a great job raising her kittens and is now ready to find a forever home of her own! Lollipop is a SUPER affectionate cat who loves to be petted and loves to snuggle up against her humans. She loves toys and active play sessions. Interested in adopting a kitty?!The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an adoption application, which is located on our website at: www.rescueandadopt.org/adopt. Please remember to include:1) Your $15 adoption deposit, which will be subtracted from the adoption fee, if you are approved to adopt.2) Vet records for any current cats or dogs in the home. For cats, we require that they are up to date on their rabies and FVRCP vaccines and seen for an annual wellness exam. For dogs, we require that they are up to date on their rabies vaccine and seen for an annual wellness exam. 3) Permission from your landlord if you rent from a private landlord. We can verify pet policies at apartment complexes. 4) Proof of home ownership if you do NOT live in Maryland. Adoption fees: $150 for kittens and cats under 5 years old. $125 for cats 5 years old and over. We do offer a 15% discount for adopting 2 ADULT cats (over 1 year old) at once, and for certain professions -- first responders, teachers and active or former members of the military.

Adopt Momma Lollipop and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Momma Lollipop's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Momma Lollipop was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Momma Lollipop’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Momma Lollipop’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
