Hello! My name is Darius and I am a 7-month-old, 45 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am still young so I should be crated when I am left home alone. I have done well with men, women, and young children after some time to warm up. I can be quite shy and avoidant with new people until I know them. Once I’m comfortable with you, I love to snuggle on the couch and am a super affectionate boy! I love other dogs and would have a confident, playful canine companion in my ideal home. My foster siblings have really helped show me the ropes about this whole living with humans thing! I also absolutely love toys! Emptying the toy basket is one of my favorite pastimes. I am not picky about toys, though I will say destuffing the big plush toys is a great definition of fun! I have even learned how to play fetch! I cannot go to a home with cats. I like going for car rides and am working hard on my leash skills so that I can join my family for more adventures! I have also learned how to sit and come when called while with my foster family. My momma is a White Shepherd and she’s already found a family! I would love to find a patient family of my own to help my confidence continue growing—could that be with you? This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Darius's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Darius was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Darius’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Darius’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
