About this Rabbit
Hi there, I’m Boots! I’m the brown lop you see in the pictures and the gray one you see is my best friend, Bugsy. We must be adopted together, and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Bugsy brings out the best in me! People say I’m friendly and charming, but I’ll admit I’m a little bashful at first. I’m the more laid-back one between the two of us. While Bugsy is off exploring, you’ll probably find me tucked into my little tent, just relaxing. But don't get me wrong - once I warm up to you, I do enjoy your company. I’ve even been known to come over and check things out when someone’s sitting near us. Especially if you have treats! Speaking of treats, I love dried carrots! Offer me one and I’ll gently take it from your hand. If I’m not in the mood, I might shake my head at you - sometimes even my ears get in on it and I’ve been told it’s pretty cute. I’ve been doing well in my foster home with respectful children and even household cats. I haven’t met the dogs face-to-face since there's always a barrier, but the setup works for us. Our routine here is calm and consistent. Every morning and evening we’re greeted, fed, and given fresh water. We get time to run around and explore, and I always make my way back to our comfy enclosure! We have lots to keep us busy - stackable toys, tunnels, and hay-stuffed toilet paper rolls that are fun to dig into. We also have apple wood to chew on, and while we’re not destructive, we appreciate having good things to nibble on. We’re both litter trained, though sometimes we do miss. We like a clean space and appreciate regular upkeep. We eat Oxbow pellets and Timothy hay - just not the Kaytee brand. I also get brushed once a week, which helps keep me looking my best! Both Bugsy and I enjoy being petted, and the more comfortable we become, the more we lean into that. I'm still getting there socially, but I'm making steady progress. Bugsy gives me a lot of comfort - I really do like curling up next to him. If you’re looking for a pair of calm, sweet bunnies who are already adjusting well to a home environment, we might be just the ones for you! *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Male Approximate birthdate: 6/12/2020 Approximate weight: 5.4 lbs Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Boots and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Boots's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Boots's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Boots, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Boots's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Boots was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Boots’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Boots’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Boots’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
