Hey there, I'm Kaiju, a 50-pound energetic pup! Life hasnât been the easiest for me so far. I grew up with my three littermates, but when things got overwhelming, our owner had to let us go. Thatâs how I ended up here at the shelter. At first, everything was a little scary, but Iâve been working hard in my foster home, and Iâve made so much progress! I get along well with other dogs and actually feel more comfortable when I have a canine friend by my side. People, on the other hand, take me a little longer to warm up to, just offer a treat and we are off to a great start â Iâm as loyal as they come. I love going on walks, playing with toys, and learning new things. Iâm looking for a quiet, patient homeâone without small childrenâwhere I can continue to build my confidence. Having another dog around would really help me feel safe as I settle in. If youâre willing to give me the time I need, I promise Iâll be the best companion you could ask for. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, KAIJU's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and KAIJU was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, KAIJU’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the KAIJU’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, KAIJU’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
