Now who is this adorable little meatball?? Meet ATHENA, she is a 3 year old bulldog and just as cute as can be. She is a petite girl with a big personality, and keeps us laughing all day long. She is a bull in a china shop with absolutely no spatial awareness. Athena was taken in by good samaritans after they witnessed her being thrown from a car. They got her all patched up, but weren’t in a position where they could keep her. Even though they had fallen in love with her immediately. We are hoping for a bulldog experienced home, who understands the amount of care that goes into a breed like this! As Athena does have some ongoing medical needs, she is on a medication and food regimen where she is stable. Athena does need to be the only pet in an adult only home.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Athena's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Athena was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Athena’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Athena’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Athena’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
