About this Dog
Cole was saved from euthanasia at a kill shelter by another Iowa rescue. That rescue closed down so he transferred to us. Meet Cole! This handsome fella is looking for his new forever family! Guesstimated to be about 3 years old, this guy is ready to roll! Cole gets along well with other playful dogs as he loves to play tug, wrestle, and hangout close to our resident dogs! This fella is rarely caught without a toy or a chew bone in his mouth. He enjoys going for a stroll and walks quite well on leash. Cole knows several commands including sit, lie down, and roll over! He is crated while I am at work/at night and holds it for my entire workday/through the night, he lets you know when he has to go to the bathroom by standing by the door staring at you or sniffing the ground in front of the door! Cole rides beautifully in the backseat of our car, either napping or resting his head on the center console. Cole has done well around children he can be shy but within 30 seconds to a minute he has already decided that you are going to be his new best friend. Not yet cat tested. Another fun thing about Cole is that he LOVES to watch TV! Cole would make a great addition to a family that loves to play but is willing to stay in and nap on those rainy days!

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cole's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cole was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cole’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Cole’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cole’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
