Thunderbolt and Astrah found themselves stuck in a high kill shelter in West Texas as very young puppies. They are great pups and are good with other dogs and people. Cats are unknown. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful.Hi! My name is Thunderbolt! I’m a 5.5 month old, Catahoula Leopard mix. I made my way all the way from Texas with my sister, Astrah (who has since been adopted). A little bit about myself, I like to chew on things, especially my toys, run around (cuz I have a bit of energy to burn off), treats are nice and help me learn new things because I respond well to positive reinforcement. Did I mention that I have energy to burn? Walks are great, and I do well on a leash. Sometimes when encountering new things, I may wait to assess what’s going on before diving straight in. Car rides are fun, and I’m always up for an adventure. I’m currently fostered with another male dog, slightly older (8 months) and we do well together. I also have a cat sister, who I find very mysterious and she is constantly piquing my interests, but once I actually get face to face, I’m not quite sure what to do and she’s pretty good at setting boundaries (so I’d do well with a dog savvy cat). I’m kenneled trained, but because I’m still young, I’m not 100% potty trained, though I’m getting better day by day. Adopt Thunderbolt and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Thunderbolt's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Thunderbolt was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Thunderbolt’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
