About this Cat
Meet Alvin, a sweet and shy soul with a heart of a lion. This adult cat has been living the life of a stray, navigating the streets with courage and resilience. Despite his brave demeanor, Alvin has a gentle side that's waiting to be discovered. His shyness is just a facade, hiding a lovable character that's eager to share his love. He's a silent observer, a quiet companion who'd make your afternoons peaceful and your evenings serene. Alvin's past as a street cat has made him strong and independent, but don't let that fool you. He's longing for a home, a place where he can feel safe and loved. If you're looking for a loyal friend who's got a heart full of love to give, Alvin is your cat. His sweet nature and bravery make him the perfect companion. Adopt Alvin, and let him fill your home with love, peace, and tranquility. Alvin has been tested positive for FIV. FIV sounds bad, but it isn't a big deal... unfortunately many FIV+ cats are overlooked in shelters because people see this on their sign and think it's a terrible disease and the cats won't live long... However FIV+ cats can live long healthy lives just like other cats! There is no medication to treat an FIV+ positive cat If you don't know what FIV is, it stands for feline immunodeficiency virus and typically causes a weakening of the cat’s immune system... only cats can get FIV, people and dogs cannot. The most common route of infection is a deep bite wound from an FIV+ cat to another cat... they can live with other non FIV + cats- sharing food/litter/water without transmitting the disease onto other cats If you are interested in adopting, please fill put an application online at ahimsahaven.org . Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only. As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.

Adopt Alvin and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Alvin's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Alvin's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Alvin, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Alvin's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Alvin was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Alvin’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."

We want the Alvin’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Alvin’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
