Frank is a middle aged, coonhound who needs all the help he can get to find his forever home! 75 pounds of joyful, exuberance can be too much for some people to handle! Frank the Tank is looking for a home with a fenced in yard to romp and play! He's gotten along well with female dogs and would be happiest with an active dog to play with. Frank is HOUSETRAINED and is working hard to maintain his manners even though he is now kenneled. In his former home, he slept in the bed was a well behave, loving roommate!Frank is not going to be a fit for every home (NO CATS FOR SURE!) but we only need to find one big hearted, hound savvy, dog lover to give him is happy ending!Frank's status is somewhat TIME SENSITIVE as he is fostering with our president who cannot provide long term care for another dog at this time.A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Frank, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other "slow to adopt" dogs!Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA. An adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Frank's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Frank was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Frank’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Frank’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
