Meet Kassie! The vet estimates Kassie is about 1 1/2 years old. She came to us as a stray and was already spayed. She was brought up to date with all vaccines. When Kassie first arrived at the shelter she was initially shy. Now that she has gotten to know us, she has come out of her shell and boy oh boy does she love to fetch! She is making progress on learning to drop the ball. She knows other basic commands like "sit" and "down" and she is eager to learn more from someone like YOU! Kassie plays well with another large dog at the shelter, but she is not good with smaller dogs. If you already have a dog, we would require a Meet & Greet with your dog to make sure they are compatible. Are you ready for a camping and hiking buddy? She sure is! ***Give Kassie a chance with our Foster-To-Adopt program !*** All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. Adopt Kassie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kassie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kassie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kassie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Kassie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kassie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
