About this Rabbit
Hello, my name is Sherlock! My foster mom likes to call me Sherlock Buddy—I’m not sure why, since it takes me a little while to warm up. Maybe it’s because I’m just so darn cute! I definitely follow the “Rule of 3s”: it can take 3 days, 3 weeks, and even 3 months for me to truly feel safe and settled. I’m a pretty skittish little guy, so please be patient with me as I learn to warm up. It’s important to keep my paws on the floor, as being picked up makes me nervous—I'm small, and it’s a bit scary! I’ll need a fully bunny-proofed home, as I can be a bit destructive if I get bored. But with plenty of chew toys and regular exercise time, I’m much more content. Foster mom feeds me about 2 tablespoons of Oxbow Timothy pellets in the morning and at night, along with unlimited hay and three salads a week. My salads usually include romaine, red and green leaf lettuce, with a little arugula or parsley. I also get the occasional yummy treat like an Oxbow or Science Selective nibble—or a small slice of banana! If you have the patience to let me come out of my shell, I promise I’ll fill your home with joy! *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Male Approximate birthdate: 3/27/2024 Approximate weight: 3.59 pounds Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Sherlock and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sherlock's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Sherlock's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Sherlock, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sherlock's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sherlock was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sherlock’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Sherlock’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sherlock’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
