Cash is an 8-year-old terrier and chihuahua mix. He weighs about 10 lbs. Due to his owner dad’s health issues, he needs a new forever home. They think he would do best in a household without other dogs with strong personalities or children since he is a resource guarder. He may bite if you threaten his resources by coming too close to them and he tends to guard a 10-foot radius around his food and toys. This is a behavior that can be corrected with training and patience. Yes, older dogs can learn new tricks. Almost Home Animal Rescue can help with that. His owners say he is very mellow otherwise and keeps to himself a lot, but he does like to lay in their laps when they are sitting on the couch. As you can see in his pictures, he is a cutie and charms most people when they visit. He loves to play with squeaky toys and run around the yard - he is fast and agile! Cash will obey basic commands, never has bathroom accidents, and adapts to routines. He is good on a leash. Riding in a car makes him a little nervous. He is neutered and up to date on vetting. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cash's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cash was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cash’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
