Onyx is a solid black short haired kitten with dark amber eyes. Onyx has decided that it is his personal quest to keep his humans clean. He will lick your hair, your face, your hands or anything else you put in front of him. And if you’re not available he will find some plastic to lick. It also doesn’t matter what time it is. Oh are you’re trying to sleep? Well that’s the perfect time for a bathing. He’s also very calm for a kitten. While his brothers and sisters are losing their minds over a feather, he prefers to relax and observe the world. Onyx has been with other adult cats and a small dog and would adapt well with any nonaggressive pets. He has been tested, neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. His birth date 3/29/25 and his adoption fee is $180.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Onyx's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Onyx was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Onyx’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Onyx’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
