Nugget is a 9 month old male Hound mix, who is a sweet boy with a heart of gold! All you have to see is the cute heart pattern on his nose to know that he has a very loving nature. Nugget enjoys walks and practically skips as he goes along with you. Once he is let loose in the fenced in park, he does an adorable scamper while he explores the field. Nugget also likes to greet other dogs as he walks by them, so he seems to be dog-friendly. Of course, a Meet n Greet is always recommended if you have other dogs in the household. After some exercise, Nugget wants to be right back at your side. He has an endearing way of leaning in to you while getting pets, almost as if he wants to give that love right back to you. This wonderful boy is more than ready to find his forever home. So just give him a chance, and Nugget will reward you with a life full of love, big smiles, and loyalty. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Nugget's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nugget was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nugget’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
