Austin was a bit shy at first, but his wonderful carers have helped him come out of his shell. He is delightfully gentle and is so ready for his new family! Austin may not have had much individual attention prior to rescue, but he is thriving on it now! He's treat motivated, which is very helpful with training. Austin is cooperative and willing on leash, and he is learning to walk on leash to meeting and interact with new people. Austin is soaking up the kindness and will have a lot of fun running and playing with new dog friends. Austin needs a private, adjacent backyard and - as he is missing his sister, Marla (adopted) - at least one other similar size/age dog friend in his new home. He requires careful supervision with gates and doors, so we'll be watching for applications from homes where children, if any, are middle school or older. Austin will be placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian. Our adoptions begin with a Foster-To-Adopt period, which is not feasible with remote placements. Adopt AUSTIN and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, AUSTIN's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and AUSTIN was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, AUSTIN’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
